You also did a wonderful job writing the biting, sometimes acerbic tongue of a good "GRITS". The characters were likeable, believable and real. Vonda is a refreshing cross between Fanny Flagg and Dixie Carter. Loved it!! I was born/raised in eastern NC and could relate to the characters, location and circumstances. Thanks!! Dear Geri, I read of your Stormy Weather novel in People magazine and it sounds like fun. However, I cannot abide filthy language and/or gratuitous sex with detailed explicit descriptions. Good question, Janine, thanks for asking. Stormy Weather doesn't contain any scenes of a sexual nature.
