Dear Readers,
If you like hot, sticky, and stormy, you're gonna love it here in summer. As my late father used to say, "Who needs a steam room when you can have Florida in July?"
Thunder storms come out of the Gulf every afternoon to cool things off, but until they do, the humidity is brutal. The traffic has picked up despite the high gas prices, and it seems a lot of people are heading to the beach to bake in the sun like a muffin.
If you'll be among the millions of beach-goers this summer, be sure to stay hydrated, slob on plenty of sun screen, and stay safe. Swim with a buddy. Observe the tide warning flags. And leave only your footprints.
On the book front, here's the great cover for my women's fiction debut book Stormy Weather.
Meet the Thayer family. They put the fun back in dysfunctional.
The book will be on sale later this fall. Stayed tuned for exact dates.
Don't forget Hot Ticket anthology is still available, featuring me and three other fabulous authors - Julia London, Deirdre Martin, and Annette Blair. Read a sample of my contribution, a novella titled Can't Catch This.
Also, a few copies of the paperback and hardcover editions of For Pete's Sake are available, as well as multiformat eBook versions of two of my paperback westerns, Asking For Trouble and One Wild Rose. Check your favorite online bookstore for any of these books.
If you haven't subscribed to my mailing list, I hope you will before you leave.
And as always, I appreciate hearing from you and thank you for stopping by. Until next time...
my best,
Ger

"Be careful where you read this book [For Pete's Sake]. I have not laughed this hard during a read in a very long time. This book is full of quirky characters, situations you hope you will never run into and a romance that startes off in the most unexpected place."
